The primary vendor's item number, or no item number, prints on item purchases

 

Automatically printing item numbers (default item number)

The item numbers that are set to automatically print on your item purchases are the primary vendor's item numbers, not the numbers you assigned to items in the Item Information window.

In order for the primary vendor's item numbers to automatically print on an item purchase, certain conditions must exist. (Conditions for printing the primary vendor's item number on a purchase.) If these conditions don't exist, no item numbers will print on the item purchase.

Vendor item information, including primary vendor name and item number, is entered in the Buying Details view of the Item Information window.

If no item prints
