Setup steps required to use timesheets for payroll


  1. Mark the preference. Mark the I Use Timesheets... preference in the System view of the Preferences window.

    Select Time Billing and Payroll if you want activity slip hours to appear in the timesheet or just Payroll if you don't.

    Select the day of the week you want to begin your timesheet week.


  2. Select payroll categories. Select the hourly payroll categories you'll use in the Enter Timesheet window and Enter Activity Slip window. Make the payroll category selections in the Payroll Details view - Wages of the employee's Card Information window. You must do this for every employee for whom you want to use timesheets for payroll.
