Task 7: Restore your backup
To print W2s, 1099s and payroll reports for the previous payroll year, you must restore the backup you created in Task 3: Back up your company file.
For more information, see ‘Backing up and restoring company files’.
Once you have restored the backup, you will be using this file to print your payroll forms and reports.
note : Do not enter data in backup
It is important to remember you are using a copy of your company file to print your payroll forms and reports and not to enter any data to this file.
