Sales Register

This option allows you to open the Sales Register window, where you can view an overall picture of your sales activity. Using just one window, you can look at open and closed invoices, quotes, orders, returns and credits and recurring templates. You can even view a list of all sales, if you choose.

Enter Sales

The Enter Sales option opens the Sales window, where you can create transaction records for the items and services you sell, regardless of whether the items or services are listed in your list of items.

Receive Payments

The Receive Payments option opens the Customer Payments window, where you can assign customer payments to their outstanding sales balances and record deposits on orders.

PrintInvoices

The Print Invoices option opens the Forms Selection - Print Sale Forms window, where you can print the sales you set up in the Sales window, as well as packing slips and shipping or mailing labels used in the delivery of items. Using this window, you can also open a window where you can customize the printed sales so they look like the sales you use.

Print Statements

The Print Statements option opens the Forms Selection - Print Statements window, where you can print statements for customers with outstanding sales balances. Using this window, you can also open a window where you can customize the printed statements so they look like the statements you use.

Transaction Journal

The Transaction Journal option allows you to open the Transaction Journal window, where you can view information about all transactions you’ve entered in the MYOB AccountEdge system, for all journals. From the Transaction Journal window, you can also “zoom” to the original window in which transactions (except inventory transactions) were entered.

To Do List

Use the To Do List option to open the To Do List window, where you can view the business tasks that affect your company on a regular basis. You can also use the To Do List to automatically act upon the tasks you need to perform, such as creating purchases for items whose quantities are low.

Inquiry

Use the Inquiry option to open the Inquiry Register window, where you can view summary information about each of your company’s accounts, sales, purchases, cards, jobs and payroll information. This window also allows you to zoom to the windows in which the individual items were entered.

Analysis

Use the Analysis option to open windows that allow you to analyze a number of key aspects of your business. For example, you can analyzze sales and profitability trends, estimate short-term cash needs and chart your progress on jobs. You also can see which accounts in your chart of accounts have the highest balances, which customers owe you money, and other information that can help you to make informed business decisions. Many Analyze windows allow you to view your company's information in table form or in graphical form, as pie charts or bar graphs.

When you click Analysis in the Sales Command Center, the Analyze Sales window displays.

Reports

Use the Reports option to open the Index to Reports window. You can use this window to print virtually all of the reports available with MYOB AccountEdge; you also can display these reports on your computer screen if you like. Using selections in the Index to Reports window, you can customize your reports or export them to Microsoft Excel if you've chosen to install the MYOB AccountEdge OfficeLink feature.
