Purchases Register

The Purchases Register option allows you to open the Purchases Register window, where you can view an overall picture of your purchase activity. You can also perform several AccountEdge functions using the Purchases Register, such as deleting a purchase or changing the status of a purchase.

Enter Purchases

The Enter Purchases option opens the Purchases window, where you can create transaction records for the items and services you buy, regardless of whether the items or services are included in your list of items.

Print Purchase Orders

The Print Purchase Orders option opens the Forms Selection - Print Purchase Orders window, where you can print the quotes, orders or bills you've created in the Purchases window. Using this window, you can also open a window where you can customize the printed purchase forms so they look like the purchase forms you use.

Print 1099's

The Print 1099's option opens the Forms Selection - Print 1099s window, where you can make initial selections about which 1099s you'll print. From the Print 1099s window, you can open the Review 1099 Forms Before Printing window, where you'll choose which 1099s to print.

Pay Bills

The Pay Bills option opens the Pay Bills window, where you can assign payments to your outstanding purchasing balances and record deposits on orders.

Print Checks

The Print Checks option opens the Forms Selection - Print Checks window, where you can print the checks you've created in the Spend Money, Settle Returns & Credits and Pay Bills windows. Using this window, you can also open a window where you can customize the printed checks so they look like the checks you use.

Transaction Journal

The Transaction Journal option allows you to open the Transaction Journal window, where you can view information about all transactions you've entered in the AccountEdge system, for all journals. From the Transaction Journal window, you can also "zoom" to the original window in which transactions (except inventory transactions) were entered.

To Do List

Use the To Do List option to open the To Do List window, where you can view the business tasks that affect your company on a regular basis. You can also use the To Do List to automatically act upon the tasks you need to perform, such as creating purchases for items whose quantities are low.

When you select the To Do List option, the task that is related to the command center you're using will be displayed. If you want to display a different task, click and hold down the mouse button; a list of tasks to choose from will appear.

Find Transactions

Use the Find Transactions option to open the Find Transactions window, where you can view summary information about each of your company's accounts, sales, purchases, cards, payroll and job information. This window also allows you to zoom to the windows in which the individual items were entered.

When you select the Find Transactions option, the view for the type of transaction that is related to the command center you're using will be displayed. If you want to display a different type of transaction, click and hold down the mouse button; a list of transaction types to choose from will appear.

Reports

Use the Reports option to open the Index to Reports window. You can use this window to print virtually all of the reports available with AccountEdge; you also can display these reports on your computer screen if you like. Using selections in the Index to Reports window, you can customize your reports or export them to Microsoft Excel using the MYOB OfficeLink feature.

When you select the Reports option, reports related to the command center you're using will be displayed. If you want to display a different type of report, click and hold down the mouse button; a list of report types to choose from will appear.

Analysis

Use the Analysis option to open windows that allow you to analyze a number of key aspects of your business. For example, you can analyze sales and profitability trends, estimate short-term cash needs and chart your progress on jobs. You also can see which accounts in your accounts list have the highest balances, which customers owe you money, and other information that can help you to make informed business decisions. Many Analyze windows allow you to view your company's information in table form or in graphical form, as pie charts or bar graphs.

When you select the Analysis option, analysis reporting that is related to the command center you're using will be displayed. If you want to display a different type of analysis, click and hold down the mouse button; a list of analysis reports to choose from will appear.
