There are two ways to start the New Company File Assistant.
- To start the New Company File Assistant if MYOB AccountEdge isn't already running, start AccountEdge, then choose CREATE New File in the Welcome window.
- To start the New Company File Assistant when AccountEdge is already running, choose New from the File menu at the top of your computer screen. Depending upon the preferences you've chosen for the company file you're working with, you might be asked whether you want to back up the company file. As soon as you answer this question, the New Company File Assistant will appear.
