To verify your company file during the backup process

If you haven't already read the Your Company File Overview, see Verifying company files for more information.

An MYOB AccountEdge company file should be open. The Preferences window should be displayed.

  1. Click the Security tab.

  2. Mark the box labeled Check Company File for Errors Before the Backup Process, then click OK.

  3. The next time you begin to back up your company file, the data verification process will begin. For a detailed description of how the data verification feature works, see Verifying company files.
