Tax Code Information window - Consolidated Tax Type view


The Tax Code Information window allows you to set up codes for all tax rates assigned to sales, purchases and other transactions you enter in MYOB AccountEdge. After you set up these codes, you'll be able to select them from search lists in transaction entry windows throughout MYOB AccountEdge.

This view of the Tax Code Information window allows you to set up consolidated tax codes - that is, tax codes that are made up of two or more existing Tax codes. For example, if you're required to charge both a state sales tax and local (city or county) sales tax on the sales you make, you can use a consolidated tax code that combines tax codes for both these tax rates.

After you set up tax codes in this window, you'll be able to select them from search lists in transaction entry windows throughout MYOB AccountEdge.
