Set Up W-2s and W-3 window

Name & Address
This field displays the name and address of your business, as they're entered in the Company Information window.

If you wish to display the Company Information window to view or change your company name and address, click the zoom arrow.

Form
Choose the IRS form you'd like to print.

Control # (Optional)
If you want to enter a control number on your W-2s, enter it in this field.

Employer ID#
This field displays your business's employer identification number, as it's entered in the Federal Tax ID field of the Company Information window.

If you wish to display the Company Information window to view or change this number, click the zoom arrow next to the Name & Address field.

The following fields appear when "W-2" is chosen in the Form field:

List of boxes
The list in the left side of the window shows selected boxes on Form W-2 that contain wage and deduction information that must be supplied by employers. If your company uses any of the boxes listed on the left, you can select a box name in this list and then choose wage and deduction categories listed on the right that should appear in the box on the Form W-2. All other boxes on the Form W-2 are automatically included on the Form W-2 by MYOB AccountEdge.

List of wages and deductions
The list on the right side of the window allows you to select the wages and deductions whose amounts should be used in the box you selected in the list of W-2 boxes in the left side of the window. All other boxes on the Form W-2 are automatically included on the Form W-2 by MYOB AccountEdge.

To select a wage or deduction, click in the Select column next to the name of the wage or deduction. A mark will appear, indicating the wage or deduction is selected. If you want to remove a mark, click the mark.

OK button
Click this button to accept the entries you've made in this window. The Forms Selection - Print W-2s and W-3 window will appear, where you can print the Forms W-2 and Form W-3 you set up.

The following fields appear when "W-3" is chosen in the Form field:

Establishment Number Box (d)
Enter the establishment number you'd like to appear on your W-3 form.

Other EIN Used This Year Box (h)
Enter any additional employee identification numbers used during the tax year, if applicable.

Contact Person
Enter the name of the contact person you want to appear on your W-3 form.

Telephone Number
Enter the telephone number of the contact person.

Fax Number
Enter the fax number of the contact person.

E-mail Address
Enter the email address of the contact person.

OK button
Click this button to accept the entries you've made in this window. The Forms Selection - Print W-2s and W-3 window will appear, where you can print the Forms W-2 and Form W-3 you set up.
