Job Opening Balances window

Job Number
Enter the number of the detail job whose opening balances you want to enter or view or click the search icon and choose the job from the list.

You can click the zoom arrow next to this field to open the Edit Job - Job Information window for the job you enter.

Acct # and Name columns
The number and name of each of your income, cost of sales, expense, other income and other expense accounts appear in these columns.

Opening Balances column
Enter the opening balances for the job you're viewing, by account, in the fields of this column. Any opening balances you've entered previously appear in this column. You can change opening balance amounts in this window, if you wish.

If you'd like to use a calculator, select the plus sign ("+"), the asterisk ("*"), the equal sign ("=") or the space bar on your keyboard to launch the Calculator window.

Jobs List button
Click this button to open the Jobs List window and view summary information about all the current jobs in your business.

OK button
Click this button to close this window.
