All Employees and Vendors
Choose this selection to view open activity slips for all employees and vendors in the Work In Progress list. In MYOB AccountEdge, works in progress are activity slips for chargeable activities for which you haven't billed the customer in full.
Selected (Employee or Vendor)
Choose this selection to view open activity slips for a single employee or vendor in the Work In Progress list. Enter the name of the employee or vendor in the field or click the search icon and choose the card from the list that appears. In MYOB AccountEdge, works in progress are activity slips for chargeable activities for which you haven't billed the customer in full.
All jobs
Choose this selection to view open activity slips for all jobs in the Work In Progress list. In MYOB AccountEdge, works in progress are activity slips for chargeable activities for which you haven't billed the customer in full.
Selected (Job)
Choose this selection to view open activity slips for a particular job in the Work In Progress list. Enter the job number in the field or click the search icon and choose the job from the list that appears. In MYOB, the term "work in progress" refers to activity slips for chargeable activities for which you haven't billed the customer in full.
Work In Dollars
Choose this selection to view the entries that appear in the Work In Progress, Billable, Bill, Adjustment and Left to Bill columns as dollar amounts. If you choose this selection, any entries you make in the Bill and Adjustment columns also will be dollar amounts.
Work In Hrs/Units
Choose this selection to view the entries that appear in the Work In Progress, Bill,Billable, Adjustment and Left to Bill columns as hours or another unit of measurement. If you choose this selection, any entries you make in the Bill, Adjustment and Left to Bill columns also will be in hours or units of measurement. You can specify an activity's unit of measurement in the Activity Information window.
Work In Progress column
This column lists the open activity slips for the customer whose name appears in the title bar of the window. You selected the customer in either the Time Billing Customers window or the Sales window. The date, activity name, employee or vendor name, job number and amount left to bill are displayed for each activity slip in the list. If you selected Work in Hrs/Units, units or hours left to bill are displayed in place of the dollar amount.
Job column
The job to which the activity slip is allocated is displayed in this column.
Billable column
The amount or the number of units that is already billable to each activity slip is displayed in this column. You cannot change this information.
Bill column
Enter the amount or the number of units for which you want to bill the customer for each activity slip. Click this field and the number in the Billable column for that activity slip automatically appears in the Bill column.
Adjustment column
Enter any adjustment amount or units that you want to make on your activity slips before you include them on the invoice. If you want to adjust an activity slip to bill the customer for fewer hours or a lesser amount, enter your adjustment as a negative number. Your entries in this column will be reflected in the Enter Activity Slip window when you record the invoice you're creating.
Left To Bill column
The amount or units left to bill for each activity slip in the list are displayed in this column. The amounts in this column change to reflect your entries in the Bill column and the Adjustment column. Changes to the amounts in this column will be reflected in the Enter Activity Slip window when you record the invoice you're creating.
Tax column
The tax amount for each activity slip is displayed in this column.
Sort By Job
Mark this selection to arrange activity slips in the Work In Progress list by job number. Activity slips that appear as line items on the time billing invoice you're creating will be arranged by job number as well.
Consolidate Activities On Invoice
Mark this selection to combine the customer's activity slips for the same activity and job on a single line item on the time billing invoice you're creating. The date that appears on the line item will be the date of the most recent activity slip.
Use Activity Slip Notes Instead of Activity Name/Description On Invoice
Mark this selection to print your entry in the Notes field of the Enter Activity Slip window for each activity slip in the Notes field of the time billing invoice you're creating.
Totals
The totals for these columns of all the activity slips listed display from left to right:
Print button
Click this button to print an Activity Slip [Customer Detail] report for the customer whose work in progress you're viewing. The report will include open activity slips only.
All button
Click this button to bill the customer for all the amounts in the Left To Bill column.
None Button
Click this button to clear all entries from the Bill column.
Prepare Invoice button
Click this button to create a time billing invoice for the customer that includes every activity slip in the Work In Progress list for which you made an entry in the Bill column.
Cancel button
Click this button to clear your entries and close this window.
