Professional layout


The Sales window allows you to create transaction records for the items and services you sell, regardless of whether the items and services are included in the items you've entered in the Item Information window.

Depending upon the type of transaction you're entering in this window (item sale, service sale, professional sale, time billing sale or miscellaneous sale), the Fields will change to allow you to enter appropriate information. Each of these windows with different sets of fields is determined by the layout. The window has five layouts.

Use the Professional layout to record the sale of items and services that you didn't enter information about in the Item Information window, and can assign a date to each individual transaction on the invoice.
