Item Information window - Item Details view

Item Number

This field displays the item number you entered in the Profile view.

Item Name

This field displays the item name you entered in the Profile view.

Picture

If you have a graphic representation of the item, you can display it in this field by double-clicking this field. You can display graphics in the .PICT format.

If you've renamed or moved the graphic file you've previously displayed in the Item Information window, "Cannot find specified graphic file" will appear in the Picture field. To display the graphic again, double-click this field and locate the graphic in the dialog box that appears.

Description
Enter a description of this item in this field.

Use Item Description on Sales
Mark this selection if you want the item description you entered in the Description field to appear in place of the item name on invoices and purchase orders.

Custom List #1, #2, #3

Custom Field #1, #2, #3
If you require additional information in your item records for which there are no AccountEdge fields, you can create custom lists and custom fields where you can enter that information. If you add them to the design of your reports, you can use custom lists to customize some reports. You also can include your custom field information on some reports.
