Unmatched Statement Transactions window

Account
The account that you selected in the Bank Register window or Reconcile Accounts window displays in this field.

Number of Transactions in File
This field displays the total number of transactions in the downloaded statement file.

Number of Matched Transactions
This field displays the number of transactions in the downloaded statement file that matched with an unreconciled transaction in your company file.

Note: The criteria for a valid automatic match between an existing transaction within your company file and a transaction from the statement file are:

For a Check transaction, the Check # and the Amount are the same for both transactions.

For a Deposit transaction, the Amount is the same for both transactions.

The number displayed here will increment upon the recording of an Add Transaction or completion of a Match Transaction.

Date Posted column
This column displays the date the transaction was posted by the bank or credit card company.

Description column
This column displays the statement's description of the transaction

Withdrawals column
This column displays the amount of a withdrawal transaction.

Deposits column
This column displays the amount of a deposit transaction.

Add Transaction button
Click this button to open the Spend Money window or the Receive Money window, based on the Transaction Type the transaction was assigned in the statement file.

The information in the Date, Amount and Check or ID # fields automatically transfers to the Spend Money or Receive Money window. The account defaults to the one chosen in the Reconcile Accounts or Bank Register window.

The new transaction automatically matches to the statement transaction and is marked as cleared in the Reconcile Accounts window.

Match Transaction button
Click this button to open the Match Transaction window, which allows you to select a transaction from the list of uncleared transactions and match it to the unmatched statement transaction you select in the current window.

Done button
Click this button to close this window and update the Reconcile Accounts and Bank Register windows based on the entries made here.

Warning: We recommend you finish adding or matching every transaction in the unmatched transaction list before you click the Done button. If you open the Statement file again, the original unmatched statements list reappears
