Analyze Profit & Loss window - Graph view

Graph
The bars in the Graph View are arranged horizontally. They allow you to view profit and loss information by month. The length of a bar displays the amount of a month's profit and loss vertically.

Profit and loss information is displayed by month in the current year unless you've selected Last Year's Actuals only or This Year vs. Last Year in the Analysis Selection window.

Bars appear in pairs if you've selected Actuals vs. Budgets or This Year vs. Last Year in the Analysis Selection window. If you've selected Actuals vs. Budgets, the left bar in a pair represents an actual amount and the right bar in a pair represents a budget amount. If you've selected This Year vs. Last Year, the left bar in a pair represents an amount for a month of the current year and the right bar in a pair represents an amount for a month of the previous year.

Print button
Click the Print button to print one of the reports below. The report will reflect the information displayed in this window.

Filters button
Click this arrow to open the Analysis Selection window (Analyze Profit & Loss), where you can change the type of information that's displayed in this window.

Up and Down buttons
Use these buttons to designate the depth of account levels you wish to view.

Ledger button
Click the Ledger button to return to the Ledger view from the Graph view.

This button appears only if you've selected This Year's Actuals Only, Last Year's Actuals Only or Budgets Only in the Analysis Selection window.

Dollar button
Click the Dollar button to display the difference, in dollars, between the amounts displayed in the list in the top half of the window in the Ledger view.

This button appears only if you selected Actuals vs. Budgets or This Year vs. Last Year in the Analysis Selection window.

Percent button
Click the Percent button to display the difference, as a percentage, between the amounts displayed in the list in the top half of the window in the Ledger view.

This button appears only if you selected Actuals vs. Budgets or This Year vs. Last Year in the Analysis Selection window.

Sales button
Click the Sales button to display the amounts displayed in the top half of the window as a percentage of sales in the Ledger view.

This button appears only if you selected Actuals vs. Budgets or This Year vs. Last Year in the Analysis Selection window.

Net P & L button
Click the Net P&L button to display Profit & Loss information in the Graph view.

Click this button to close this window.
