Fields on the toolbar

View
Use the Screen Report view to resize the columns and rearrange the fields of the report. The " ^ " mark indicate that a column can be resized.

The " ^ " at the top of a column indicates that a column can be resized. To resize a column, using the mouse, move the cursor over the " ^ ". When the cursor changes to a double arrow, hold the mouse button down and drag the column to the size you want, then release the button.

To move a field, using the mouse, move the cursor over the names of the fields. When the cursor changes to a "hand," hold the mouse button down and drag the field into the place on the report you want, then release the button.

Select the Print Preview view if you want to view the report in the format in which it will be printed.


Redisplay button
Click this button if you've changed the report by changing the customize field(s) that is available on the toolbar or if you've changed the information on the report while the report was displayed.


Customize field(s)
Depending upon the report that's displayed, one or more fields that allow you to customize the report may be available. Examples of the fields are: Date, Dated From/To and Aging Date.

Fields in the window

Print button
Click this button to print the report. (To view the report before it prints, choose Print Preview from the View selection box.) When you click Print, the print dialog box for your printer will appear.


Send To button
Click this button if you wish to create a report file for the selected report. You can send this file to a disk or you can email or fax it.

The Excel selection is part of the MYOB OfficeLink feature. In order to use OfficeLink, you must also be using Microsoft Excel 98 or Excel 2001. When you installed AccountEdge, all the components you need to use OfficeLink were installed automatically; no additional steps are required. For more information about sending reports to Excel, see the OfficeLink.


Customize button
Click this button to open the Report Customization window for the report you're displaying. In the Report Customization window, you can establish criteria to determine the information that appears on the report.


Close button
Click this button to close this window.


Save As button
Click this button to open the Save As window (Customized Reports), where you can save the displayed report as a custom report.

Note: If you've resized the columns or rearranged the fields of the report, those changes won't be saved unless you save the report as a custom report.


Password lock icon
This icon appears if the information displayed in this window may be incomplete due to password restrictions.
