To find a transaction using Registers

- Select one of the following registers in the corresponding command center:
Bank Register in the Banking Command Center.
Items Register in the Inventory Command Center.
Sales Register in the Sales Command Center and then click the tab of the transaction type you're trying to find.
Purchases Register in the Purchases Command Center and then click the tab of the transaction type you're trying to find.
- Narrow or widen your search:
- For the Banking Register, select an account from the Account list.
For all other Registers, use the Search By selection box to choose another way to search -- All selections or one selection.
- Enter a different date range.
Note: Finding a transaction in the13th period
If you've entered a transaction into the 13th period by entering an asterisk (*) in the Date field before you entered the transaction, to find the transaction, place an asterisk before the date when you search for the transaction.
For example, if you're searching for a bank deposit using the Account view of the Find Transactions window, be sure to enter an asterisk before the date in the Dated From and To fields.

- The transaction you're looking for should appear in the scrolling list.
- Click the zoom arrow to open the transaction in the window in which is was created.
