To change the size of your invoices, statements and purchases forms
Reports and forms > Using forms > Tips for printing item numbers on item purchase orders > To change the size of your invoices, statements and purchase orders forms
If you print multiple copies of a form on a single sheet of paper, you can use the following steps to adjust the size of your forms. (Note that this is not the same as changing the type of paper used for the form. If you need to do that, please see To change the paper size used for your forms.) Keep in mind that any changes you make here will affect all the instances of the form that appear on each page.
Warning: Changes may affect the way you print
Keep in mind that the changes you make to the size of your forms will most likely change the way the forms are printed using your printer.
To change the size of your forms, you must create a custom form layout. Follow these steps to do so.
- In the Sales Command Center, click Print Invoices to open the Forms Selection window for invoices. Choose the type of invoice you want to modify from the Form Layout list
In the Sales Command Center, click Print Statements to open the Forms Selection window for statements. Choose the type of statement you want to modify from the Form Layout list.
In the Purchases Command Center, click Print Purchase Orders to open the Forms Selection window for purchases. Choose the type of purchase order you want to modify from the Form Layout list.
- Select the form layout of the form you want to change from the Selected Form for Sale (or Statement, or Purchase) list, then click the Customize button to open the Customize window.
- Choose Forms Info from the Form menu to open the Forms Information window.
- In the Forms Information window, change the entries in the Form Size fields and click OK.
- In the Customize window, click the Save Form As button. The Save As window appears; enter a name and a brief description for the new layout and click OK. (If you selected a custom form in step 1, click Save Form to save your changes without creating a new form layout.)
