Setting up Multicurrency

You must complete a number of steps before you begin recording multicurrency transactions in MYOB AccountEdge. Once setup is complete, you'll enter multicurrency transactions the same way you enter transactions based on United States dollars.

• Selecting the Multicurrency option in the Preferences window

• Creating records for the currencies you'll use

• Assigning accounts to foreign currencies

• Assigning the appropriate currency to foreign customers, vendors and salespeople

• Recording unrealized gains and losses
