To choose a purchase layout

The Purchases window should be displayed (To find the Purchases window) and a vendor should already be selected.

1. Click the Layout button to display the Select Layout window.
2. Choose one of the following options:

Service - This layout can be used for services and goods that haven't been added to your Items List.

Item - This layout is used for items that you've added to your Items List. (These may be inventoried or non-inventoried items, as well as services.)

Professional - This layout is similar to the Service layout, but it allows you to specify a date for each line item.

Miscellaneous - This layout generally is used for quick transactions that involve no items and require no printed documentation.

3. Click OK to return to the Purchases window.
