To delete an order with a payment applied to it

Sales > Making sales > Changing, deleting and reversing sales > To delete an order with a payment applied to it

If you've already applied a payment to a order that you want to delete, you need to delete the payment before you delete the order.

The payment you want to delete should be displayed.

  1. Choose Delete Payment from the Edit menu.
  2. If more payments have been applied to the order, be sure to delete each payment.
  3. When all payments applied to the order have been deleted, display the order you want to delete in the Sales window. See To view sales using the Sales Register if you need help doing this.
