If you plan to upgrade an MYOB company file so it can be used by MYOB AccountEdge Version 3, we recommend that you optimize your company file using the Optimization Assistant and then check your company file for errors using the Data Verification Utility before you upgrade your company file. This will help to ensure that your company file is in "healthy" working condition before you begin making your day-to-day accounting entries using MYOB AccountEdge Version 3.
With version 3, the MYOB AccountEdge Optimization Assistant is available from within your AccountEdge software. Just choose Optimize Company File on the system File menu to start the optimization process.
