Text

Enter or change the text for the field you selected in the Customize window.

Field Location (from top)

This field allows you to enter coordinates to position the text field you selected in the Customize window at a specific location on the form. In this field, enter the number of inches, using up to three decimal places, that you want the text field to print from the top of the page.

Field Location (from left)

This field allows you to enter coordinates to position the text field you selected in the Customize window at a specific location on the form. In this field, enter the number of inches, using up to three decimal places, that you want the text field to print from the left-hand side of the page.

Field Size (height)

This field allows you to enter the vertical size of the field you selected in the Customize window. Enter the height in inches, using up to three decimal places.

Field Size (width)

This field allows you to enter the horizontal size of the text field you selected in the Customize window. Enter the width in inches, using up to three decimal places.

Text Format button

Click this button to launch the Text Format window - Text Field, where you can determine the text characteristics of the text field you selected in the Customize window.

Background Color

Click this button to select a background color for a text field. You can choose a background color from the palette provided, or you can define and use custom colors.

Note:  The default background field color (white) is transparent

Borders tab

Text

This field displays the text entered for this field, if any.

Border Layout

Check the Left, Top, Right or Bottom boxes to create borders for the field. If you want the border to have rounded edges, check Rounded Edges.

Border Color

Click this button to select a color for the border of this field.

Border Width

Select a width for the lines in the the border.

Preview

This area displays a preview of your formatted text field.

Both tabs

Cancel button

Click this button to clear any entries you've made and close the window.

OK button

Click this button to accept the entries you've made in this window.
