User Access window




User ID column

This column contains all the user IDs in the AccountEdge system, except for the Administrator user ID. (The Administrator User ID is automatically assigned unlimited access.) Highlight a User ID on the left to view and edit the restrictions on the right.

If no restrictions have been assigned to a user ID, the text No Restrictions will display next to the user ID.

Not Allowed column

This column allows you to prevent users from accessing the functions that appear in the Available Functions column.

To prevent access for a function, select a user ID in the User ID column, then click this column next to a function name. An X will appear in this column, indicating that anyone who uses the selected user ID won't be able to access that function.

Available Functions column

This column lists all functions you can prevent other users from accessing.

To prevent access for a function, select a user ID in the User ID column, then click the Not Allowed column next to a function name. An X will appear in the Not Allowed column, indicating that anyone who uses the selected user ID won't be able to access the function.

New button

Click this button to open the User Details window, where you can create a new user ID and assign or change a password.

Edit button

Click this button after selecting a user ID in the User ID column to edit the user ID or password.

Delete button

Click this button after selecting a user ID in the User ID column to remove the user ID.

If you want to remove the master password, all sub-passwords must be removed first.

Cancel button

Click this button to leave this window.

OK button

Click this button to accept the entries you've made in this window.
