To learn if transactions are changeable or unchangeable
Setup > Personalizing your company file > Using AccountEdge preferences > Choosing changeable or unchangeable transactions >>
The Security view of the Preferences window should be displayed. (To find the Preferences window - Security view)
- If "Transactions CAN'T be Changed; They Must be Reversed" is not marked, your transactions are changeable. Recorded transactions may be changed or deleted. If you wish to make your transactions unchangeable at any time, simply mark the selection.
- If "Transactions CAN'T be Changed; They Must be Reversed" is marked, your transactions are unchangeable. Recorded transactions must be reversed; they can't be changed or deleted. If you wish to make your transactions changeable at any time, simply unmark the selection.
