To enter a description of an item

The item should be displayed in the Item Information window. (To find the Item Information window - Item Details view)

1. Click the Item Details tab.



2. Enter a description of up to 255 characters in the Description field.



3. Mark "Use Item Description on Sales" if you want this description to appear on sales forms and other forms instead of the item name



4. Return to the To add a new item procedure.
