To change tax amounts

The Sales window should be displayed. (To find the Sales window)

1. Click the zoom arrow next to the Tax field to open the Tax Information window.



2. Enter the new tax amounts in the Tax column.



3. Click OK. The total tax amount displayed in the Tax field will change to reflect the change you made.
   
   Click the Recalculate button if you want the tax amount to be restored to an amount based on the tax codes assigned to the transaction.

Warning:  Tax amounts change automatically when service, item or freight amounts change
