Auto-Build Inventory window




Item Number column

This column displays the numbers of all items that have had auto-build information set up for them in the Auto-Build Information window.

Name column

This column displays the names of all items that have had auto-build information set up for them in the Auto-Build Information window.

On Hand column

This column displays the current quantities in AccountEdge for all items that have had auto-build information set up for them in the Auto-Build Information window.

On Order column

This column displays the quantities on order in AccountEdge for all items that have had auto-build information set up for them in the Auto-Build Information window. On Order quantities are calculated by subtracting the quantity of items on sales orders from the quantity of items on purchases orders.

Net on Hand column

This column displays the net quantities in AccountEdge for all items that have had auto-build information set up for them in the Auto-Build Information window. A net quantity is calculated by adding an amount in the On Hand column to its corresponding amount in the On Order column.

Qty. to Build column

Enter the quantity of finished items you want to build, or accept the default quantity, which is the amount of items that's needed to raise the item's quantity above the minimum level you set for the item in the Auto-Build view of the Item Information window.

If you'd like to use a calculator, select the plus sign ("+"), the asterisk ("*"), the equal sign ("=") or the space bar on your keyboard to launch the Calculator window.

None button

Click this button to return the numbers in the Qty. to Build column to zero.

Build Items button

Click this button to automatically build the items you designated in the Qty. to Build column of this window. The Transfer Inventory window will appear, displaying the inventory transfer transaction that was created. To complete the auto-build process, click Record in the Transfer Inventory window.

Cancel button

Click this button to clear the entries you made and close the window.
