Some accounting information entered using the New Company File Assistant CAN'T be changed

When you create your company file using the New Company File Assistant, you'll specify a few important details about your company, such as the name of your current fiscal year and payroll year, the number of periods in your fiscal year and your conversion month. This information is the foundation of your company file and can't be changed.

If you've created a company file with incorrect information that can't be changed, you'll need to create a new company file with correct information to fix the error.
