The General Journal number that's displayed is incorrect
If you'd like to use a different number, simply enter that number. The next journal entry you create will be assigned the next available number. Use care when entering numbers other than the ones suggested by MYOB AccountEdge; you can use any General Journal numbers you like for your transactions -- including numbers you've already used for earlier journal entries. To avoid confusion and the possibility of duplicate numbers, we suggest that you use the default numbers suggested by MYOB AccountEdge.
