You can assign multiple job allocations to a single line of an employee payment
MYOB AccountEdge gives you the ability to assign multiple job allocations to a single line of an employee payment.
You can do this in two ways:
- Distribute hourly wage pay amounts to multiple jobs using Activity Slips
Jobs can now be assigned to activity slips. Using Process Payroll, you can link activity slips to employee payments. Multiple activity slips containing differing jobs can be integrated into one line of an employee payment.
- Distribute pay amounts to multiple jobs using the Allocate Jobs window
Using the new Allocate Jobs window, you can display and edit job allocations for a line of an employee payment.
You can distribute the pay amounts of the following payroll categories among multiple jobs:
- Salaried Wage payroll categories
- Hourly Wage payroll categories
- Deduction payroll categories
- Superannuation deduction payroll categories
- Superannuation expense payroll categories
- Employer Expense payroll categories
Note: If you want to assign one job to a category for every payment to an employee, you can enter a job number using the Recurring Pay section of the Payroll Details view of the Card Information window.
For more information, see Distributing employee pay to jobs.
