Look for

Some Select from List windows include this search field. It provides a shortcut to the selection you want. This is useful if there are more selections in the list than appear in the window.

List of entries

All the entries currently in the system.

New button

Click this button to create a new entry in the list.

Easy-Add button

Some Select from List windows have an Easy-Add button. If you type an entry in the Look for field that is not already in the list, click this button and it automatically adds it to the list. Later, if you wish, you can enter additional information to complete the entry. For example, you may want to add the address and contact information for a card file entry at a later time. The Easy-Add button doesn't appear in the following types of Select from List windows if you've marked the corresponding preference:

• Cards: Select Cards by Card ID, Not Card Name selection in the Windows view of the Preferences window

• Accounts: Select and Display Account Name, Not Account Number

Use button

Click this button to select the highlighted entry.

Cancel button

Click this button to remove all the entries you've made and close the window.
