• If item numbers appear in the Item column. Enter the item number of the item you wish to find in the scrolling list. If you can't remember the entire item number, enter as much of the number as you can remember; the scrolling list will display the item whose number most closely matches the number that you entered.

• If item names appear in the Item column. If you've selected the preference Select Items by Item Name, not Item Number in the Preferences window - Windows view, the Item column in the window will display item names; if this is the case, you'll enter an item name in the Search field. Enter the item name of the item you wish to find in the scrolling list. If you can't remember the entire item name, enter as much of the name as you can remember; the scrolling list will display the item whose name most closely matches the name that you entered.

This field appears only when you access the window from the Inventory Command Center > Move Items option.

Total Item Numbers

This field displays the number of unique item numbers in the list

This field appears only when you access the window from the Inventory Command Center > Move Items option.

Item Number xxx

This field displays the number of the item that you're viewing using the Item Information window.

This field appears only when you access the window from the Item Information window> Locations tab.

Item Name

This field displays the name of the item that you're viewing using the Item Information window.

This field appears only when you access the window from the Item Information window> Locations tab.

Item column

The Item column displays each of your inventoried items. (If you've accessed this window from the Item Information window, the item that you are viewing is highlighted.)

The column will display the item number, unless you've selected the preference "Select Items by Item Name, not Item Number" in the Preferences window - Windows view.

On Hand column

The On Hand column displays the total number of each item in all locations.

LocIDxxx - LocIDxxx columns

The Location columns display the number of items that are in each location. To move items from one location to another, change the numbers displayed in the location columns; enter only positive numbers. (To move inventoried items)

Out of Balance column

If the number of items in each location doesn't equal the On Hand amount, an amount will appear in this column. Adjust the amounts until the Out of Balance column is blank. You won't be able to move the items until there are no amounts in the Out of Balance column.

Print button

Click the Print button to print the Items Location Summary report.

Move Items button

When you click the Move Items button, the inventoried items are now assigned to their new locations. To view the item movements you've made, use the Item Movement report.

Cancel button

Click this button to remove the entries you've made and close the window.
