The Build Items window allows you to build finished items by increasing finished item quantities and values and decreasing the quantities and values of the components used to build the finished items. The purpose of this window is similar to the Auto-Build Items window, but it also provides more control over the details of the item-building process.
The Amount field at the bottom of the Amount column displays the balance of the positive and negative amounts of all entries in the Amount column. This field must display $0.00 before you can record the build items transaction.
