Note: This window is available only if you use multiple locations for inventory.
Group by Item option
Click this option to display your list of items.
If you use multiple locations, locations are listed below each item and the item quantities are displayed according to locations.
Group by Location option
If you use multiple locations, click this option to display your items grouped according to locations.
Item Number option
Click this option to enter or select one item. If an item has purchase orders or sales orders, this option displays detailed information about the order transactions.
Location ID column
This column displays items and each location where an item is stored. (The location ID is displayed.)
If an item has purchase orders or sales orders, you can click the zoom arrow next to the item number to display the Analyze Inventory window - Item Number view with detailed information about the order transactions.
Name column
This column displays the name of the location.
On Hand column
This column displays the current quantities in AccountEdge of all items. Quantities that you have on order from your vendors or your customers have on order with you -- the quantities in the On Order and Committed columns -- do not affect your On Hand quantity.
Committed column
This column displays the quantities of all items from sales orders -- items that are ordered but not yet invoiced to customers.
On Order column
This column displays the quantities of all items from purchase orders -- items that have been ordered but not yet received from your vendors or items that have been ordered but not yet billed to you by your vendors.
Available column
This column displays the quantity "available" for all items. An available quantity is calculated by adding an amount in the On Hand column to the amount in the On Order column and subtracting the amount in the Committed column.
Print button
Click this button to print the Analyze Inventory Summary report. (Use the Filters button if you want to select the option to Include Zero Quantities in the report.)
Filters button
Click this button to open the Analysis Selection window. You can choose the option to Include Zero Quantities when you view your items in this window and when you print the Analyze Inventory Summary report.
This button isn't available when select the Item Number option when using this window.
Close button
Click this button to close this window.
