Name column
This column displays the names of all the vendors with whom you have available discounts. Click the zoom arrow next to the vendor's name to open the Pay Bills window.
Due column
This column displays the number of days that are left before each transaction's discount expires.
P.O. # column
This column displays the ID numbers of the transactions whose discounts are expiring.
Due Date column
This column displays the expiration date of the discounts for the transactions in the list. The due date is calculated by comparing the original date of the purchase to your discount credit terms with the vendor.
Balance Due column
This column displays the balance amount that must be paid before the due date to qualify for the discount.
Checkbox (Pay Bills) column
If you wish to pay any of the bills in the list, click this column for those transactions, then click the Pay Bills button at the bottom of the window.
Click the gray box at the top of this column to mark all the transactions in the list. Click again to clear all marks from the Print column.
Print button
Click this button to print the To Do List - Expiring Discounts report.
Pay Bills button
Click this button after marking the action column of one or more transactions in the list to create a bill payment for the full amount of each marked transaction and a check transaction for that amount. A dialog box appears which prompts you to enter a date for the transactions. If you want different dates for any transactions, mark and record them separately.
After you click this button and select the date, choose Print Checks from the Banking Command Center to print the checks for your vendors.
