If you have historical sales for foreign customers


If you have chosen to set up your company file so that you can use the MYOB AccountEdge multicurrency feature, a currency field is displayed above the Amount Due column of this window (Customer Opening Balances window); the currency field automatically shows your local currency.

If you have historical sales for foreign customers, click the button to the left of the currency field and select the name of the foreign currency that you deal in. After choosing the currency, enter the historical sales for your customers with whom you deal in this currency.

Enter the historical sales for foreign customers in the same way as you enter historical sales for local customers. Continue entering historical sales for every foreign sales transaction and in every currency that you deal in until you've entered every sales transaction that hasn't been paid in full yet.
