To prevent the host computer and workstations from sleeping (Network Edition)
When other users are accessing the company file on the host computer, you should not allow any connected computers, particularly the host computer, to go into sleep mode. Follow the steps below to prevent a computer from going to sleep.
- Choose System Preferences from the dock, and then click Energy Saver.
- Click Sleep. Click Show Details, if necessary, to see the sleep settings.
- Drag the top slider to Never.
- To prevent the display from sleeping, unmark the checkbox labeled Put the display to sleep when computer is inactive for.
