To enter a description of an item

The item should be displayed in the Item Information window - Item Details view.

1. Click the Item Details tab. (Entering a description of the item)



2. Enter a description of up to 255 characters in the Description field.



3. Mark Use Item Description on Sales if you want this description to appear on sales forms and other forms instead of the item name



4. Return to the To add a new item -- all types procedure.
