Getting started with payroll tax forms

To start working on payroll tax forms, click Prepare Payroll Tax Forms in the Payroll Command Center. This opens the Select Payroll Tax Form window, where you can begin to prepare certified copies of all of these standard federal payroll forms:

Note:  Forms 1099 and 1096 cannot be prepared or filed using the MYOB Payroll Forms Service

Working on Forms W-2 and W-3

The features built into your MYOB Payroll Tax Forms program allow you to prepare and print certified copies of every Form W-2 and W-3 that you need to file. This feature is available even if you don't register for the MYOB Payroll Forms Service. You will also be able to upgrade your W-2 and W-3 forms to obtain the latest official government versions every year without registering.

Working with state payroll forms

You can also use the MYOB Payroll Forms Service to prepare and print all of the payroll tax forms required in your state. Simply choose State in the Search by field of the Select Payroll Tax Form window to display the list of forms required in your state. Until you have registered, however, you will be able to print these forms only in "Demo Mode." An optional multi-state registration provides access to the forms required in all 50 states.

Working with saved forms

The MYOB Payroll Tax Forms program allows you to save draft copies of forms that you are still working on, or that you want to keep for later reference. To resume work on an incomplete form, click Saved Forms at the bottom of the Select Payroll Tax Forms window. You can also use this feature to review, edit or print copies of forms that you have completed.
