Name & Address

This field displays the name and address of your business as it's entered in the Company Information window. To display the Company Information window so you can view or change this information, click the zoom arrow.

Federal Tax ID

This field displays your business's employer identification number as it's entered in the Federal Tax ID field of the Company Information window. To view or change this number in the Company Information window, click the zoom arrow to the left of the company name.

Control # for first W-2

If you want a control number to appear on your W-2s, enter the number to appear on the first W-2 form in this field. AccountEdge will automatically increment this number for each W-2 that you print or e-file.

W-2 Boxes

The W-2 Boxes list in the left side of the window shows selected boxes on Form W-2. Each of these boxes is designed to provide wage and deduction information that must be supplied by employers. If your company must provide W-2 information in any of these boxes, select the appropriate box and then use the "Select Box Categories" list to choose the wage and deduction categories that should appear in that box. All other boxes required on Form W-2 are automatically prepared by MYOB AccountEdge.

Select [box and line] Categories

The "Select [box and line] Categories" list on the right side of the window allows you to select the payroll categories for which amounts will appear in a selected box. All other boxes required on W-2 forms are automatically prepared by MYOB AccountEdge.

To select a wage or deduction, click in the "Select Box Categories" column next to the name of the wage or deduction. A mark will appear to indicate that the wage or deduction information is selected to appear in the chosen box on your company's W-2s. Click again on any mark to remove it.

OK button

Click this button to accept the entries you've made in this window. The Payroll Form Viewer will appear, where you can finalize and print the individual W-2 forms you set up.
