Header Job
Mark this selection if this job will be used as a header job in your jobs list. You can assign transactions to detail jobs only, but you may want to create a header job for each group of detail jobs. The header job will display the totals of the detail job information in the Jobs List window.
Detail Job
Mark this selection if this job will be used as a detail job in your jobs list. You can assign transactions to detail jobs throughout the AccountEdge system.
Inactive Job
Mark this selection if you no longer use this job and wish to remove it from the selection windows. Your list of jobs will be shorter, and selecting the job you need will be easier.
If a job is marked inactive however, you still can use the job in transactions by manually entering the job number. Inactive jobs will still appear in the Jobs List window. You can also return the status of the job to active so that it will appear again in the selection windows. No matter what the status of a job -- active or inactive -- transactions recorded using the job will still affect all of your financial records.
This field appears for Detail jobs only.
Track Reimbursables
Mark this selection if you want to track reimbursable expenses for this job.
You must also link a customer in the Linked Customer field at the bottom of the window if you want to track reimbursable expenses for this job. For information about the linking a customer, see the Linked Customer field information in this window.
This field appears for Detail jobs only.

Sub-job Of
Enter or select a header job from your job list. When you enter a job in the Sub-job Of field, you're indicating that you want the job's expenses and income to be included in the total expenses and income of a larger, more comprehensive job -- a header job.
Only header jobs can be entered in the Sub-job Of field, but both detail and header jobs can be sub-jobs. [Choosing the type of job (Detail or Header)]
When you enter or change the job number that displays in the Sub-job Of field, the job will move to its new sub-job location and will be listed alphanumerically with the other sub-jobs, if any, at that level. (Organizing jobs in four levels)
If a header job is moved to be a sub-job of a different header job, all the detail jobs beneath it, if any, are moved with it.
