Category ID

Use this field to enter or edit the alphanumeric ID you assign to the category.

Category Name

Use this field to enter or edit the name you assign to the category.

Description

Use this field to enter or edit a description of the category.

Inactive Category

Mark this box if you do not want this category to appear in the Select from List window when you assign a transaction to a category.

Unmark this box if you want this category to appear in the Select form List window that appears when you assign a transaction to a category.

New button

Click this button to open the Edit Category window and enter a new category.

OK button

Click this button to accept the entries you've made in this window.
