Recurring Transactions List window




Sort By

Select to sort the list by Transaction Name, Type or Frequency.


Search By

If your list is long, use this field to find a particular transaction. Select the category you want to use for your search -- Transaction Name, Amount or Next Due -- and then type the specific name, amount or date to highlight the recurring transaction that matches your search entry.


Transaction Name column

This column displays the recurring transaction names, which were set in the Edit Recurring Schedule window.

Type column

This column displays the transaction type of the recurring transaction.

Frequency column

This column displays the frequency of the recurring transaction, which was set in the Edit Recurring Schedule window.

Last Posted column

This column displays the date that the recurring transaction was last posted.

Next Due column

This column displays the date that the recurring transaction is next due to be recorded.

Amount column

This column displays the amount of the recurring transaction.

Edit Schedule button

Click this button to open the Edit Recurring Schedule window, where you can edit the selected recurring transaction's scheduling options.

Use Recurring button

Click this button to open the transaction window for the selected recurring transaction, where you can record the transaction. You can edit fields, if you wish, before you record the transaction (the changes also affect the recurring transaction only if you marked the Always save my changes when I use and Record this recurring transaction option in the Edit Recurring Schedule window).

Create Copy button

Click this button to open the Create Copy (recurring transaction) window, where you can save a new recurring transaction based on the details of the selected transaction. For transactions that involve a card, you will also select the customer (Receive Money or Sales Quote/Order/Invoice) or vendor (Spend Money or Purchase Quote/Order/Bill).

Delete button

Click this button to delete the selected recurring transaction. Transactions that have already been recorded based on this recurring transaction are not affected when you delete the recurring transaction. You just remove the recurring transaction and eliminate its future use.

Print button

Click this button to print the Recurring Transactions List report.

Edit button

Click this button to open the Edit Recurring Transaction Details window for the selected transaction. From this window, you can edit and save transaction details for future use of the recurring transaction, but cannot record a transaction.

Close button

Click this button to remove all the entries you've made and close the window.
