Reminders window




Transaction column

This column displays the recurring transaction names. The name, the scheduled date of the transaction, and reminder schedule were all set in the Edit Recurring Schedule window.

You can click the drill down arrow to open the original transaction window (which you can also do by clicking the Record button), where you can record the transaction or edit the transaction and record the transaction with those changes. Edits performed in this manner have no effect on the saved recurring transaction.

Due Date column

This column displays the date the transaction is scheduled to be recorded.

If it is the current date, the only actions you can take are to:



If a reminder is ignored for an entire period, it remains in this window with the same date, even though a later more current date for the transaction exists. If you select the reminder and click Skip This Period, the current date appears.

Amount column

This column displays the amount of the transaction.

Skip This Period button

Click this button if you don't want to record the transaction this period. When you click this button, the window refreshes and the reminder is removed from the list.

If the reminder was overdue and the next due date is within the reminder schedule, the reminder remains with the new due date.

Remind Tomorrow button

Click this button if you don't want to record the transaction today but do want to be reminded again tomorrow.

This field is not active if the selected transaction has a current due date.

Remind When Due button

Click this button if you don't want to record the transaction today but do want to be reminded again on the date for which the transaction is scheduled.

This field is not active if the selected transaction has a current due date.

Record button

Click this button to record the transaction.

Close button

Click this button to close this window.
