The Item Information window allows you to set up information about the items and services stored, sold and provided by your business. The window has multiple views.
The Locations view
Use the Locations view to display the locations where an inventoried item is located.
Only locations with an on-hand inventory quantity will be displayed; if the item has zero on-hand inventory, no locations will be displayed in the window.
Also use the Locations view to select default locations where you'd like your inventoried items to be sold from or received into. You can change the selected default location on individual sales and purchases, if you want.
This tab is available only if you've marked the I Inventory This Item selection in the Profile view.
