Card Type

Select a type of card -- Customer, Vendor, Employee, Personal or All -- to restrict the list of cards for which letters will be printed.

You can further narrow the list of cards by making entries in the Selected, Identifiers, Last Contact Before, Recontact On/Before, ZIP and custom fields.

All Cards/Selected Card

The name of this field is determined by the selection made in the Card Type field.

• All. Choose this selection to create letters for all cards of the card type you selected in the Card Type field. The cards must also match the selection criteria you may enter in the other fields in this window

• Selected. Choose this selection if you wish to create a letter for a single card. In the field next to this selection, enter the name of the card or click the arrow and select the card you want from the list that appears.
  
  Only cards with the type you selected in the Card Type field can be displayed here. If you're unsure about the card type assigned to a particular card, choose All in the Card Type field.

Identifiers

Enter as many as 10 identifiers to restrict the list of cards for which you want to create letters.

Note that only the cards that have been assigned all the identifiers you specify will be included.

Last Contact Before

Enter a date to restrict the list of cards for which letters will be printed to the people and companies who haven't been contacted since that date.

Recontact On/Before

Enter a date to restrict the list of cards for which you want to create letters to the people and companies whose recontact dates occur on or before that date.

ZIP

Enter a ZIP code to restrict the list of cards for which letters will be printed to the people and companies whose primary address is located in that ZIP code area.

Custom List # 1/#2/#3

If you've set up custom lists for customers, vendors, employees or personal cards, you can choose selections from these lists to further narrow the list of cards for which letters will be printed.

These fields don't appear if you chose All in the Card Type field.

Cancel button

Click this button to clear any entries you've made and close the window.

OK button

Click this button to accept the entries you've made in this window. The Review Cards Before Exporting window will appear, and you can verify the list of cards for which letters will be printed.

After you've finished reviewing your selections, click the Mail Merge button; a window will appear displaying all the letter templates that are available for use with OfficeLink. Choose the template you want and click the Use Template button. In a few moments, your word processing application will open, and personalized letters for the selected cards will be displayed.
