Review Cards Before Exporting window




Card Type

Select a type of card -- Customer, Vendor, Employee, Personal or All -- to restrict the list of cards for which letters will be printed.

All Cards/Selected Card

The name of this field is determined by the selection made in the Card Type field.



Advanced Filters button

You can further widen or narrow the list of cards you wish to export using Advanced Filters; click the Advanced Filters button to open the Advanced Filters window - Create Personalized Letters.


Checkmark (Mail Merge) column

Use the Mail Merge column to indicate which cards you wish to export. All cards with a mark displayed in the Mail Merge column are marked to be exported; if you don't want to export a card, click the mark to remove it. If you wish to export a card and a mark doesn't appear in the Mail Merge column, click the column to add it.

Click the gray box at the top of this column to mark all cards in the list. Click again to clear all marks from the column.

Card column

All the cards you selected in the Advanced Filters window are displayed in this column.

Type column

The card type -- Customer, Vendor, Employee or Personal -- is displayed in this column.

Balance column

The current balance the customer has with you or the balance you have with the vendor is displayed in this column. This column is blank for employee and personal cards.

Disk button

Use this button if you're not using OfficeLink:

  1. Click this button when you're satisfied with the information you've selected to include in the mail merge file.
  2. A dialog box appears, allowing you to choose a file format. Make your selection and click Save.
  3. Another dialog box appears, allowing you to provide a name for the mail merge file that will be created. When you name the file and click OK, the file is created.

Mail Merge button

Use this button if you are using OfficeLink:

  1. Click this button when you're satisfied with the information you've selected to include in the mail merge file.
  2. The Select From List window appears with a list of letter templates you can use to create a personalized letter for the cards you've selected. Highlight the template you want and click Use Template.
  3. Your word processing application opens, and personalized letters for the selected cards display.

Cancel button

Click this button to clear any entries you've made and close the window.
