Accounts

To combine two accounts


The Accounts List window should be displayed.

  1. Highlight the detail account (only detail accounts can be combined) you want to retain when you combine two accounts, then click the Combine Accounts button to open the Combine Accounts window.


  2. The account that was highlighted in the Account List is the selected account in the Primary field. If this is not the account that you want to use as the Primary account, click the search icon to display a search list of accounts and make a different selection.


  3. In the Secondary field, click the search icon to display a search list of accounts and select the account you want to delete after you move all its transactions to the account you choose as the Primary account.


  4. Click the Combine Accounts button.

    Because this action cannot be reversed, you are asked to confirm the combine accounts process. In the confirmation dialog window, click Cancel to return to the Account List window or click OK to combine the accounts.
