Categories
To turn on category tracking
The System view of the Preferences window should be displayed. (To find the Preferences window - System view)
Note: This task requires single-user access. See Single-user file locking for more information.
- Mark the Turn Category Tracking On preference to display the Category field in all the MYOB AccountEdge transaction windows.
- Select Required or Not Required from the drop-down list. If you choose Required, you will not be able to record the transaction without assigned the transaction to a category.
Warning: Turning off category tracking deletes all categories and their history
